Frequently Asked Questions about CBD

Disclaimer

The below information is a result of information that is publicly available on the internet, research studies, the media, university studies and Government funded studies. The information about CBD oil is generic for all our customers and we strongly encourage our customers to do their research and utilise these oils within the means of their local laws.

What is CBD?

CannabidiolCBD— is a molecular constituent of the hemp plant that has significant scientifically proven medical benefits. CBD will not make you feel “stoned” or “high.”  CBD-rich oil from hemp (CBD oil) has been shown in many studies to help treat inflammation, pain, anxiety, stress, depression, spasms, and other conditions without feeling drowsy or euphoric when taking the recommended serving.

Why don’t you have more information in the product description?

Due to local advertising laws in Australia, ThoughtCloud cannot make any claims or statements as to what the products do or how to administer them. We operate according to the Australia Hemp Regulations and state that our products are not for human consumption. Feel free to visit our Instagram page (@thoughtcl0ud) for reviews from customers which state how they use it in their local region.

Will CBD help my condition?

Due to the current federal regulations of the Australia, we can not make claims about what results our products will produce. Each individual is different and will react to the oils like any other product. You are unique in your genetic makeup and will need to find the product that works best for you. However, we post customer reviews daily on our social media pages that you may refer to if you like.

Will CBD show up on a drug test?

In short, you have a 0.1% chance with Full Spectrum products when taking the recommended serving, as it contains up to 0.3% THC. With our Sustainable Isolate products there is a 0.00% chance, as we have isolated the CBD so that it contains no THC whatsoever. Both formulas are completely non psychoactive when taking the recommended serving.

With 3-5 servings daily of 0.5mg THC (contained in most commercial CBD-rich hemp oil products), the positive urine screen rate is less than 0.1%. Most servings of typical high-quality, high-purity CBD-based hemp oil products contain well below 0.1mg of THC and therefore have upwards of 400-600 times less THC than marijuana products.

What does all this mean?

Put simply, a consumer who uses a high-quality, scientifically vetted hemp-based product at the standard serving size is highly unlikely to test positive for THC and/or THC-COOH. However, it’s important to be cognizant that extremely high doses may result in a positive urine screen (which would be subsequently shown to be false via GC/MS testing, if available). Ultimately, consumers need to be fully informed of the specific regulations posed by their employers or other authorized parties and adjust their consumption of cannabinoid products accordingly.

How long will it take to receive my products?

At ThoughtCloud we offer the highest degree of customer service and provide free First Class shipping, which usually takes 1-4 business days once your package has left our local Australian warehouse. Please allow an additional 1-4 business days for handling, as we make all oils in small batches. During large 40-70% blowout sales, please allow up to 2-4 weeks of shipping and handling time, although we strive to get your products to you as speedily as possible!

Why won’t my payment process?

In many cases, you will need to ask your bank to lift the “International Lock” and allow charges to ThoughtCloud. Most likely it’s just your bank trying to prevent fraud due to our payment processing system being based in the UK.

If you are getting an error message saying that your card is fraudulent, please reach out to admin@thoughtcloud.net.au with your phone number and the best times to receive a text or email so that we may help you get it sorted out. Otherwise, simply try using a different card.

We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused and appreciate your patience.

Can I give ThoughtCloud CBD to my pets?

Yes! All mammals have an endocannabinoid system and can benefit from added levels of CBD. Please use the pet formulation for best results as animals are sensitive to CBD and it is formulated with a lower potency. Half a dropper for pets under 23kg; one full dropper for pets over 23kg. You may either put the dropper right in their mouth (most pets love the taste and beg for it!) or place on a treat that can be consumed in one sitting.

When will the oils expire?

ThoughtCloud oils have a shelf life of 6-9 months, unrefrigerated. The shelf life is extended up to three additional months if refrigerated. This applies whether the product is opened or sealed, although regular users will go through a bottle long before they need to worry about that.

How does the 30-day money back guarantee work?

You have 30 days from the time you receive the product to return for a full refund of the purchase price, following these guidelines:

  • The unopened items must be returned in the same condition that you received it in;
  • Tampered/modified items will not be accepted;
  • Return shipping labels will not be provided.

**All vape pens are final sale. Please contact us if you have any warranty issues with your Vladdin Vape Pen.

What is the difference between coconut oil and cold pressed hemp?

The only difference between the coconut full spectrum blend and the hemp full spectrum blend is the carrier oils that sustain the cannabinoids. The hemp oil is for consumers who have an allergy to coconut, which has a more earthy, herbal smell.

Is ThoughtCloud CBD lab-tested?

Yes! Our CBD is lab-tested immediately after it is extracted and again by a third party laboratory in Colorado to ensure a healthy and stable product is formulated for our clientele. Lab results can be emailed to you upon request by reaching out to admin@thoughtcloud.net.au.

Is ThoughtCloud CBD a whole plant extract, a synthetic, or an isolate?

Our full spectrum CBD is CO2 extracted, made of whole plant cannabinoid extract including terpenes and beneficial oils. This is how we are able to keep the highest percentage CBD in the industry today.

A study done by the Haddasah Medical School at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem compared the effectiveness of a completely purified CBD versus a full spectrum extract of cannabis flowers containing large quantities of CBD. This study found that more anti-inflammatory material was bio-available in the full spectrum extract than in the isolated CBD alone.

What other ingredients are in ThoughtCloud CBD?

ThoughtCloud CBD oil has only organic, non GMO, vegan ingredients. Our extracts contain 100% organic hemp oil and our proprietary full spectrum CBD concentrate. There are no other additives, preservatives, or emulsifiers! Natural flavorings are added to some products, and will be clearly labelled as such.

Where does ThoughtCloud source hemp from?

Our CBD oil is made from plants that are grown organically in a controlled, outside farm environment in Colorado. All the plants are free from harmful chemicals and pesticides.

How do you extract the CBD and other cannabinoids from the raw plant material?

We use the most environmentally friendly CO2 extraction methods which clear all toxins, heavy metals, and excess chemicals that degrade CBD oil. CO2 is safe and leaves behind no chemical trace whatsoever. This allows our CBD oil to remain healthy and free of phytochemicals and other unwanted plant material.

What types of CO2 extraction does ThoughtCloud use?

We use supercritical extraction through a process called fractional distillation. Our highly educated research and lab teams are trained specifically in these formulation and chemistry techniques. These specific results are achieved by using corresponding temperatures and pressures at the heat degrees of vaporization which extract the oils at the EXACT activation energy needed to produce the purest product available anywhere.
